A pull-from-anytime set, sorted by what it builds. Pick two or three per session; don't run them all.
Third-Shot Drops From the Baseline
A partner at the kitchen line feeds deep; she lifts a soft shot that peaks on her side and lands in the kitchen. Builds the shot that gets her team forward.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Peak on my side, drop in the kitchen."
Drive or Drop? Call It Out
Mixed feeds; she calls "drop" or "drive" before she swings. Scored on the decision, not the result.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Deep and low, drop it. Short and high, drive it."
Move forward from the baseline, split step every time the partner hits, reset hard balls soft into the kitchen, then step again.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Split when they hit, reset it soft, then step."
Dinks cross-court with a quiet wrist and a shoulder lift, counting until something pops up. The warmup for the soft game.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Lift from the shoulder, quiet wrist."
Attack Only Above the Net
A dinking rally where she may only speed up a ball above net height. A speed-up on a low ball is a point to her partner.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Below the net, stay soft. Above the net, go."
Between every point: paddle tap with her partner, one breath, one word for the next point, paddle up. Same every point, so nerves don't turn into speed.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Tap, breathe, one word, paddle up."
Building a session: one third-shot drill, one transition or kitchen drill, and points played to 11 with the paddle tap between every one. Rotate which leads so no part of her game goes stale.
