Cade’s drill library

A real one, built for one wrestling kid from everything the parent had shared. Nothing here is demo copy.

Cade's Drill Library

A pull-from-anytime set, sorted by what it builds. Pick two or three per session — don't run them all.

From the feet — offense

Hand-Fight to the Shot

Set up every shot — hand-fight, snap, fake — then shoot the double off the reaction. A set-up shot lands; a naked shot gets sprawled on.

Coaching Cue

Cue: "Set it up first — make him move, then shoot."

Chain Wrestling

Shot, sprawl, immediately re-attack — double to a single to a high-crotch. Good wrestlers score on the second and third attack, not the first.

Coaching Cue

Cue: "Shot to a second shot — never stop on one."

Foundation

Stance and Motion

Low stance, constant motion, level changes and fakes. The base everything is built on — and the conditioning base for the third period.

Coaching Cue

Cue: "Stay low, never stop moving."

From the bottom

The Stand-Up

Hand control, foot up, drive to the feet, clear the hands, face him. Turns the bottom from a place he loses points into a place he scores them.

Coaching Cue

Cue: "Hand control, foot up, stand up, face him."

Conditioning & mindset

Grind Rounds

Short, hard scramble rounds starting already tired, with the rule to keep attacking, not survive. Builds the gas tank and the third-period mindset together.

Coaching Cue

Cue: "Tired is normal — keep attacking to the whistle."

Building a session: stance and motion to warm up, one offense block, one bottom block, and grind rounds to close. Rotate which leads so no part of his wrestling goes stale.
