Cheer Flexibility Practice Plan for 11 and 12 Year Olds

At 11 and 12, the gardens meet GROWTH (tight weeks as weather, gentleness doubled) and deepen their purpose: jump pairs at DEPTH (the accounts funding harder), HURDLER gardens joining (the front-and-bent shapes the jump family spends), the splits' road walked patient, and the ten-minute DAILY built to survive season storms.

This session runs about an hour. The active-passive pairing rules (cheer's jumps spend active inches only), the spurt's narration stays open, and the daily's five get chosen: the sport's flexibility is a funded account with a habit's spine, and both build here.

Practice Plan

Music Session: Depth Through Weather

The pairs deepen, hurdler gardens join, and the daily gets built stormproof. Growth's weather passes; the accounts compound through.

Warmup · 10 minutes

Gentle Assembly

Duration10 minEquipmentmusic

Sparkle ramp, garden visits easy, ankle and shoulder circles. Growing bodies get long hellos.

Coaching Cue

Cue: "Assemble gently. Depth follows weather's rules."

Block 1: Pairs at Depth · 20 minutes

The Accounts, Deepened

Duration20 minEquipmentcarpet

The funding matured: straddle holds (minute-class) with lifted pairs (five per leg, honest), pike's pair, then the lying versions (hamstring stretches with towel, paired with controlled leg raises: the toe touch's ceiling account), each pair twice. Depth's deposits, spurt-gentled where weather demands.

Coaching Cue

Cue: "Deeper visits, honest lifts. The accounts weather the weather."

Block 2: The Roads · 20 minutes

Splits in Weather

Duration12 minEquipmentcarpet

The road per side: gates at spurt-honest depths, square law absolute, maintenance framed as winning through tight weeks, heights logged flat. The garden's calendar rules; the road walks on.

Coaching Cue

Cue: "Square through the storms. Keeping is winning."

Hurdler Gardens

Duration8 minEquipmentcarpet

The jump family's new shapes: hurdler sits (front leg long, back leg bent: the jump's ground twin, gently per side), forty-five seconds each side, proud backs ruling. The hurdlers of the jump file grow here.

Coaching Cue

Cue: "Sit the hurdler's shape. Its jump grows in this garden."

Block 3: The Daily's Construction · 10 minutes

Five Shapes, Stormproof

Duration10 minEquipmentcarpet

The survival kit: the five chosen (straddle pair, lunge-half, butterfly, doorframe, pike), compressed to ten minutes, self-conducted once. Season storms (competitions, homework, life) eat sessions; the daily survives all of them, streak-logged.

Coaching Cue

Cue: "Your five, ten minutes, most nights. The streak outlives every storm."

Finish · 0 minutes

The Book

DurationbedsideEquipmentthe log

Pairs, weather, the daily's rehearsal: filed flat. The stormproof account.

Coaching Cue

Cue: "Book the weather. Sparkle regardless."

What to watch today: discouragement in tight weeks. Spurt-tightened jumpers read regression where recalibration lives, and the narration (bones first, muscles catching, ranges returning with interest) plus the book's last-spring pages carry the weeks. The daily's streak is the identity through: bendy is a habit's child, not a week's.

Common questions

What is the toe touch ceiling account?

The lying pair: hamstring range (towel stretches) beside controlled straight-leg raises: the strength-range that sets how high jump legs can fly. Funded weekly beside the straddle accounts, it is the height's honest ceiling: jumps spend exactly what these pairs deposit.

Why hurdler sits now?

The jump family's ground twins: hurdler jumps (the file's 11-12 arrivals) spend the sit's shape, and the garden grown beside the jump keeps both honest. Gently per side with proud backs: the bent-leg gardens are gentler cousins, weathered the same.

How does the daily survive competition seasons?

By its size: ten minutes and five owned shapes fit hotel floors, late nights, and nerves' evenings: the streak's design. Seasons that eat hour-sessions leave the daily untouched, and the streak column's survival is why spring's jumps remember winter's gardens.
