Parent Frequently Asked Questions

What if I have never received a message or my information was not on file with my child's school?

Please call you child's school. They will be able to provide you with a username and password to access ParentEdge and update your information. You can also access either the elementary or secondary sign up forms linked above to begin receive updates.

How is the message formatted?

Elementary messages begin with the first 5 letters of the last name of your child's teacher. They then inform you and your child if there is a test or quiz to study for that night. The bulk of the message then contains any information added by your child's teacher. Secondary messages begin with the first 5 letters of your child's first name. They then contain periods representing each class period your child has throughout the day. Each period contains information from your child's teacher for that class period.

How can I opt out of receiving emails?

Login in to your ParentEdge account. Select edit and change your status to opted-out. Click Save. You can determine the opted in status for each individual email.

What time are the messages sent out every day?

Messages are sent out at a time determined by the school each day.

What cell phone numbers can I set to receive the message?

You can have your cell phone number as the one that receives messages. If you feel comfortable you can assign your child’s phone number to receive messages to help them become more responsible on their own..

What If I want my child to receive the text message or one of the emails?

Simply login and update your settings with their cell phone number or email.

Can I respond to the text message or email?

No, please do not respond to a ParentEdge text message or email. You will receive no response.

Where do I login to change my settings?

Please go to http://app.schooledgemobile.com or check your welcome email.

What days will I receive messages?

You will receive messages Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
